Resiliency

My first boss once told me, sales is not for everybody.  Now I realized it is totally true.  Sales is for those who accept rejection as part of their profession.

Yung ang layo ng byahe mo papuntang client not just once but many times just to learn na ‘di din pala bibili.  Dati pa nga commute from Taguig to a lot of places unfamiliar to me.  Kaya never ako pumuti kahit mag-kojic dahil sa work ko, lakad dito, lakad don (nagdahilan pa haha).  Minsan sunod sunod na lost sales pa which is very draining.  May mga clients na pagagalitan ka pa para sa mga small concerns and since bumili sila sayo feeling nila they have the right to treat you badly and siyempre sa sales bawal pumatol, you have to use appropriate words and tone of voice everytime.  Pero mas madami pa din na clients na mababait at friendly.

But 8 years turning 9 years now…I learned how to embrace and love this industry that i am into.

Resilience and celebrating small wins was my way of coping up in this stressful and draining industry.  Kaya kahit 9 out of 10 ang rejections, just look at that 1 who said yes and trusted you, focus your energy there.

Mag 9 years na pala akong pressured sa benta lol.

Read this habang naglalunch and every word speaks so much about my experiences naging emotional ako kaya I can’t help but share and write this wala lang, laban lang haha.
